Cost Accounting Professional
Overview
We are looking for a Cost Accounting Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the cost accounting functions, including cost analysis, budgeting, and reporting. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information, as well as analyzing and reporting on cost data.
Responsible For
- Conduct cost analysis and cost management activities
- Prepare and maintain cost accounting records and reports
- Analyze costs, pricing, and purchasing trends
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure cost data accuracy
- Participate in budget preparation and provide regular budget reports
- Maintain and update standard cost systems
- Review and approve product costs and cost calculations
- Participate in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Monitor and analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions
Additional Requirements
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field 5+ years of cost accounting experience Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and procedures Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software systems
